    Okay for the price

    Overall, it’s okay for the price. You must add water to get your hair straight if you have super curly hair, which I do. There’s an option of not using the steamer, but it doesn’t straighten your hair like that. Also, it leaves your hair with an iron smell. Use the steamer for super curly hair

    I love this straightener. It really does make my hair softer and much more shiny. My hair stays straighter longer too. The only thing is that you do have to be careful how you hold it because it can leak water a little bit, but the quality is good. I only had to refill the water compartment twice to straighten my hair. I do have very fine hair though. This is why I like the different settings. The first one I bought was cracked where the plates are but the company replaced it fast. I would definitely buy again.

    I love this steamer. I just wish that the little reservoir was a bit larger. I have hair that is a bob to my shoulders and it barely has enough water to straighten all of it. Other than that it is a really good value for what you spend. I didn’t want to spend $200 on a steam flat iron so for this price I definitely am super pleased!

    Wonderful for fly away hair

    As I am getting older, my hair is dryer. I use a heat protecting spray and this iron makes my hair soft and so much shinier and gets rid of the fly away hairs. I have super fine hair that is a bit curly. This iron has helped to make my hair much healthier looking.

    Does The Job

    I purchased this item because my prior steam iron has stopped ejecting steam and is no longer on the market for a new purchase. I bought this after reading such great reviews. With my past straightener, I was able to use the steam feature to curl my hair and I would not have to use an ounce of hairspray since the steam and heat would just hold it together. With this however, even when following the instructions, obtaining a curl with the steam feature was near impossible, and then fell out within minutes.

    Don’t waste your money

    This hair iron really doesn’t work better than a hair iron without steam. You may as well use a regular hair iron because this one also uses hot plates. I didn’t find that the steam was an improvement in comparison. Personally, I’m going back to my old hair iron for straightening and curling.

    It’s so so worth it! Straight hair, steam which is important, and very good price! It also gives u the choice to select whatever temperature or as much steam as you want! If I had to say something Negative that would be that the water bank is somewhat small, and have to fill it twice (which is not a big deal)! I’m so happy with my purchase, if u need one get it!

    It didn’t produce any steam

    It heated just fine, but did not produce any steam. Also, that directions said to remove the yellow film before using and there was no yellow film. So I may have received a used product that was already faulty. Completely guessing there. But it definitely did not steam, and without it, it did not work as well as other brands

    I really like this product, I have recommended it to my friends.

    I liked that product really straightened my hair the first time. I didn’t have go over the same piece of hair more than twice. I was about to straighten my hair under an hour and my hair was soft, shiny and it lasted for at least a week and a half before I had to touch up my hair. I told all of my friends about this product.

    Takes some getting use to

    This hair straightener is quite a bit different from the one I used previously. The on/off is on the inside of the iron where the plates are, and so is the temperature adjustment button. It’s not on the outside like most flat irons buttons are. I wish they were outside if so then I would be able to give this flat iron a 5 star review. As we all know the iron can get really hot so when you have it on and are trying to adjust the temperature you have to be careful not to burn your fingers in the process. It does have a lock on it so that it can stay closed when not in use. It also has a pretty long cord, I haven’t used the steam part of the iron yet, but I am sure it’s a nice added touch. All in all this is a nice flat iron it just needs some tweaks to make it a great flat iron.

    It will snag your hair

    I wanted so badly to like this. I tried it for a few days but as other reviewers said, it snags and pulls your hair, ripping it from your skull and you have to fill the water tank every few passes. Mine also got stuck on the highest output steam switch and no matter how I try, it’s really stuck (broken).It’s now taking up space under my bathroom sink until I throw it away.

    I was looking at the L’oreal $250 straightener and then saw this and thought I’d give it a try and save some money. I’m glad I did!! Straightens and de-frizzes in 1 pass!! Easy to use! Couldn’t be happier with this tool!!!

    Great for thick hair

    I bought this for the steam function, but just doesn’t work with my thick, wavy hair. But, using it as just a flat iron works great! I have purchased every high end flat iron there is but this one works way better than all of those. Again, my hair is thick and wavy…it takes me about 20-25 minutes to do my hair and this really does the trick. I cannot comment on the steam part of it as that just didn’t work for me.

    Likes: Is easy to use. Heats up quickly.Dislikes: lacks grip. I don’t think the heat settings are accurate. With normal straightners anything over 400-410, I risk scorching my hair. With this one, I have put it on 450 and go over strands multiple times. I just used it about 2wks ago. I wish i had used it sooner, bc the return date has lapsed

    Works well and easy to use only thing I don’t really like is the controls are on the inside not as easy to turn on and off but on the good side you can’t accidentally turn it off when doing your hair. I would probably purchase again.

    This is a great steam hair iron! The only drawback is that the controls are a bit difficult to get to. I can see how this is less damaging than a regular flat iron, and I love that for my natural 4a hair.

    Love the steam, makes straightening my hair quicker. Back in the 80s I used a steam curling iron and was wondering about a steam straight iron, of course found it on Amazon! Ulta didn’t have one and the salespeople had never heard of. Glad Amazon has it, best thing for straightening my thick coarse wavy hair.

    Really gets the job done

    Super easy to use and does straighten my hair while making it soft and shiny. I will point out it arrived with a small nic on one of the plates. When I tried to report it Amazon’s customer service got snippy and rude. However so far I don’t notice a difference in how the iron works. Great Straightener that really gets the job done

    I waited a year to write my review because I want to first use the product for a while before I give an opinion. Too often people jump on here and immediately write their reviews and I don’t think you can write an accurate review after only 7 days or a month. First off, this iron is an amazing value. You really get a great deal for the money. I have a fancy Dyson and I started hearing about the steam iron and I figured I would try it but I didn’t want to invest a ton of money on it since I already have something that works fine. I took a chance on this product and I love it. It’s my go to for everyday styling and the steam makes your hair shiny and silky. It’s truly amazing.I usually don’t use up all of the water in the reservoir and if you are, then you’re clearly over using the flat iron and my guess is that you’re going over the same strands multiple times and putting on too much unnecessary heat. Honestly you really don’t need to go over the same pieces multiple times. I can flat iron my hair in one swipe and it stays flat and soft for days. The fact that people think the reservoir is too small is a little baffling because it’s a flat iron, how big do you want the product to be? If the reservoir was made bigger than people would complain the iron is too bulky (like my Dyson). The only reason this is my go-to product is because it’s small enough to fit in my bag and it gets the job done so fast. The shine and silk is a plus. I have long hair, down to the middle of my back. I try and only use one styling tool a week to protect my hair from unnecessary heat. Clearly this product is not too damaging because my hair stylist says I barely ever have split ends. She can tell when people use flat irons because the damage from the heat shows. As I stated in the beginning, this product is amazing. Of course not everything can be perfect , my only complaint is that in the center of the iron underneath the heating plates , there’s a circular rubber pad that works when you press down on the plates by releasing steam. You can turn this feature on or off, in case you prefer not to use the steam option. Well my complaint is that sometimes my hair gets caught and pulls when I’m flattening my hair fast. If you take your time you don’t have this issue and I’m sure you can avoid this rubber pad if I lifted my arm more but sometimes I’m in a hurry and I forget. My iron is still working and I’m great condition and I take this thing with me everywhere. It has taken a beaten and had a few falls. I love my flat iron and I love the steam option because it gets rid of any fly always. Give it a try and you will love this tool. If you don’t then return it. I love mine so much I bought one for my daughter. I’ll try and upload pictures.

    Tricky to use.

    I took my daughter to a salon for her 10th birthday. She has very tight hair texture, she is mixed race. They straightened her hair with an iron. It went well. So I bought this one as it was similar to the one that they used on her. It seems that when I use the steam it makes her hair curl. I watched a few videos on YouTube but I can’t get this particular iron to do the straightening. I also bought heat protection for her hair and still not able to get a smooth texture.

    This is a great quality steam iron for the price. I’ve noticed some reviews complain about the size of the water compartment. It’s a steam iron I don’t know how large they want the water compartment to be but I think it works perfectly. The iron does not use that much water. As for performance it works great. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

    When I received this flat iron & opened the packaging of it & felt how sleek it was, I knew once I started to use it that I wasn’t going to want to go back to any other flat iron (except my babyliss flat iron of course🤭). I used this on a human hair wig that I bought (& had my daughter (13) test it out as well) & the ease of using this tool was AMAZING & well worth the purchase. For $40, I think it could DEFINITELY compare to higher priced steam flat irons ☺️I think that anybody that’s considering to buy this should do it 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣% .     Great straightener!

    I had no idea steam straightening existed! Saw a review for a very expensive one, looked around here and found this one, good reviews/pictures and much better price! The steam part isn’t the greatest and I don’t straighten my hair every day but it works well! My hair is very curly in a weird way so straightening with this is my best option! I do recommend this tool, along with straightening spray, which I use. It was recommended on this page. For the price it’s worth a try!

    Best cheapest flat iron I’ve ever had.

    I love this straightener it’s no typical one. I’ve flat ironed my hair for about 12 or more years and I have thin hair regular flat irons dry my hair out and cause static and the ends just looked so dead and dull but this one is amazing I never have static my hair is bouncy and shiney and soft. If you’re considering buying it just do it.

    This product is Gold! I love it! It’s extremely easy to use! It works amazingly! I’ve told so many people about it, it’s that good. One tiny flaw is that sometimes the water drips out no matter what you do! But it works so well I’m over it! Great temperature, heats up pretty quickly, and it’s not bulky at all! The controls can not be accidentally turned off. It flows in your hand beautifully! You must use a comb! And after steam pressing the hair it stays straight for a very long time! Humidity is not my friend and I live in Florida! With this product, it doesn’t matter! I steamed pressed my daughters hair 15 days ago, and it’s still straight! It’s like I relaxed it! I’ve even put product in her hair! Still straight!!! And after washing her hair I did not blow dry it first! Just steamed pressed it! This product is amazing!

    This product was very easy to use! My client has soft natural hair that starts shrinking immediately after walking outside. I usually always used chi flat irons, but after using this flat iron; with one stroke… her hair was immediately tamed and humidity was no longer an issue.     Excellent product for the value. Prompt delivery. Easy to follow instructions. Water is easy to install. Heats up to desired temperature quickly. Make sure you have or invest in a thermal glove.     This is my first steam iron, so it is an amateur review. I am a white female with very fine hair that was killed due to a home pandemic perm. While I learned that steam really does make a difference in styling, this product is mediocre at best. It drips hot water all over you as your using it, which burns your fingers and hands. You have to squeeze the iron super tight to even get a little bit of steam, as the steam sensor is on the inner part of the iron. When steam « bursts » do occur they are intermittent and inconsistent, and more like STREAM bursts, and then the tank is empty. One of the reviews I read said « if you can, save your money and buy a better product », that is the best advice to consider before purchasing… You get what you pay for.

    It’s worth the money

    I have a lot of hair and quite long and I finish my har in 15 min with 2 or 3 times filling. It’s super small and kind of annoying that you have to refill it but it’s really worth the money

    Good at first

    It was amazing the first time I used it. My hair was never so easy to straighten. I go to use it today. All seems well. I had the steam feature on, but no steam coming out and had super hot water dripping on me.
